Cubs meet
Thursday 18:30 - 20:00
Cubs is the second section of the Scouting movement, originally started in 1916 for younger brothers who wanted a ‘look-in’.
A Pack of Cub Scouts is organised into Sixes, with a Sixer and a Seconder in charge.
At 9th Lymington cubs, we offer a wide range of scouting activities to boys and girls aged between 8 and 10 1/2 years old. This has recently included a night hike, a movie trailer workshop with Apple, astronomy sessions with a retired astronomy professor, a community project at a local care home and a talk from a former team GB athlete.
If you would like your child to join the 9th Lymington Cubs adventure please get in touch with;
Gemma at 9thlymingtoncubs@gmail.com and we will give you details of our current waiting list.
Cubs are young people aged 8 to 10½ who:
Every week, they gather in groups called Cub Packs to take part in lots of interesting and challenging activities – achieving anything they set their minds to, and having lots of fun along the way.
