Take the lead, embrace change

Lymington Unit

As an Explorer Scout, you will be able to decide, along with the rest of the Unit, what you would like to do - whether it is power boating, socialising, caving, snowsports, hiking or camping for example. You will be able to gain badges such as the Chief Scout's Diamond and Platinum Awards. The highest award you can earn is the Queen's Scout Award. This is recognised by many employers as the sign of someone that is enthusiastic, dedicated and reliable. You will also be able to undertake Duke of Edinburgh Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards.

Who are Explorers

Explorers are a go-getting group of young people aged 14 to 18. Together, they make up the fourth section of the Scouts.

Week in and week out, they gather in groups called Units to try new things, make new friends and conquer the small task of changing the world.
