We are so lucky to have such a wonderful scouting movement in Lymington providing such amazing experiences to Lymington's next generation.
However, we always need the support of Lymington's adults, whether a parent of one of the groups children or not. If you feel you can contribute to this successful Sea Scout group, please do contact us and we look forward to meeting you.
The 9th Lymington Sea Scout Group, which includes Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers, is currently looking for volunteers to fill a number of roles including:
Maintenance Manager - to keep across issues at our building and grounds, gather quotes and schedule works as necessary.
Lettings Manager - to look after the letting of our scout hut and grounds to outside groups, managing our calendar and liaising with those making bookings.
Monday Club volunteers - to help look after our boats, making repairs and keeping our craft shipshape.
Beaver Leader / Assistant Leaders - to help run our busy Beavers group on a Monday evening.
Cub Leader / Assistant Leaders - to help run our busy Cubs group on a Thursday evening.
If you are interested in becoming a part of a team that develop and implement weekly activities which contribute towards the development of the young people and their Scouting experience.
Volunteering is easier than you think. We provide full support and training so that you can give young people the skills they need to succeed in life. Contact us to discover how being part of the Scouting family can be as rewarding for you as it is for them.
Are you looking for a role where you put your skills to use, learn new ones and play an active role in our community?
Even if the role you're interested in isn't advertised, why not drop us a line? Please email secretary.9thlym@gmail.com
